One or more students curse, or attack physically isolate
a colleague as well as putting rude nicknames. This type of intentional
persecution definitely can not be seen only as a natural joke of age or as
something banal, to be ignored by the teacher. It is much more serious
than it seems. This is bullying. The situation becomes even more
serious when the subject is a child or youth with a disability -. They do not
always have physical or emotional ability to deal with assaults Such
attitudes tend to be driven by lack of knowledge about the deficiencies, are
they physical or intellectual, and largely by prejudice brought from
home. In recent research on the topic, conducted with 18,000 students,
faculty, staff and parents in 501 schools throughout Brazil, the Foundation
Institute of Economic Research (Fipe) found that 96.5% of respondents admit
prejudice against people with disabilities. Put in place inclusive
pedagogical actions to reverse this statistic and undermine violent and
intolerant behavior is the responsibility of the whole school.
