               Para começarmos a nos aprofundar no assunto “Bullying”, devemos saber qual sua definição.

         O bullying é o uso da força, ameaça ou coação para o abuso, intimidação ou agressividade dominar os outros. O comportamento é muitas vezes repetida e habitual. Comportamentos utilizados para fazer valer tal dominação pode incluir assédio verbal ou ameaça, agressão física ou coerção, e tais atos podem ser direcionados repetidamente para alvos específicos. Justificativas e argumentações para tal comportamento às vezes incluem as diferenças de classe social, raça, religião, sexo, orientação sexual, a aparência, comportamento, linguagem corporal, personalidade, reputação, linhagem, força, tamanho ou capacidade. O bullying pode ser definido de muitas maneiras diferentes. Atualmente, no Reino Unido não tem definição legal dos atos de bullying,  enquanto alguns estados dos EUA têm leis contra ela. O Bullying consiste de quatro tipos básicos de abuso – emocional (às vezes chamados relacionais), verbal, física, e cyber.  Ela normalmente envolve métodos sutis de coerção, como intimidação.

To begin to talk about bullying, we need to know what that means.

             Bullying is the use of force, threat, or coercion to abuse, intimidate, or aggressively dominate others. The behavior is often repeated and habitual. Behaviors used to assert such domination can include verbal harassment or threat, physical assault or coercion, and such acts may be directed repeatedly towards particular targets. Justifications and rationalizations for such behavior sometimes include differences of social class, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, appearance, behavior, body language, personality, reputation, lineage, strength, size or ability.  Bullying can be defined in many different ways. The UK currently has no legal definition of bullying, while some U.S. states have laws against it. Bullying consists of four basic types of abuse – emotional (sometimes called relational), verbal, physical, and cyber. It typically involves subtle methods of coercion such as intimidation.
